I began photographing flamingos in 2016, drawn in at first by their color and choreography. What started as curiosity quietly turned into obsession—the more time I spent with them, the more personality slipped through the symmetry, and the more these small, awkward moments began to matter.

Ten years on, I am still working with flamingos, still looking for expressions like this: moments where the myth of grace gives way to something stubborn, human, and wonderfully imperfect. The feather stays. The mood stays. And so do I.
