Through The Foliage

2019

I think the Sri Lankan Leopard is one of the most enchanting animals I have ever had the privilege to photograph.
I love gazing into their eyes and seeing an intelligent, self-assured personality staring back at me.
That intelligence is vital to the survival of the leopard, and they are constantly scanning their surroundings for threats, something that I wanted to show in a photograph.
It’s an unusual frame for me — the foliage creates disorder, something that I struggle to deal with because of autism, but I think it works on this occasion.
