I chased whispers of movement, fleeting shadows, and pawprints fading into dust. Their elusiveness became a quiet reminder that some subjects are granted, not taken; some portraits must be earned through patience, humility, and countless missed chances.

In this rare encounter, the veil finally lifted. The cheetah stepped forward with a presence both delicate and formidable, its gaze steady and unflinching. I left a very happy man.
