The rocks beyond stand watch, ancient and indifferent, while the seals linger in this in-between hour—no longer swimming, not yet gone. Each breath is slow, matched to the rhythm of the surf, as if the evening itself has learned to rest.
This is not sleep, but a pause deep enough to feel like reverence. Day releases its hold, night gathers its patience, and life remains—still, balanced, enduring. In the fading light, the shore remembers that belonging does not always require movement, only presence.
