A Giants World
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002022
I recently spent some time working on a special collaboration with @oxleybob to raise important funds for @thebigcatsanctuaryuk and our subject was their resident white tiger. When we departed the Sanctuary, I knew I had to work with a white tiger again – they are so enchanting.
On the train home I began to dream of photographing a white tiger again, and decided that the aim should be to create a portrait — it should be all about their unique beauty (they lack pheomelanin; the pigment that turns fur orange) and their should be no distractions.
I finally got myself and my cameras in front of this beautiful creature a few months after initially setting eyes in a white tiger, and knew immediately that I had to be at eye level – he was laying in some tall grass, and that would provide a beautifully simple background upon which I could justice to this most beautiful creature.
Pridelands
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002023
When I saw this juvenile male laying on the top of this mound I knew there was the potential to tell a story – this is his patch, and he is ready to defend it. There is so much authority in his face, bravery and strength beyond his years, a king in the making.
The Little Lamb
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002022

The Next Generation
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002022
Spring is easily my favourite season here in England — I love the spring flowers, the feeling of better times ahead, the ever-growing warmth, and, of course, the new life being born all around us.
I have long wanted to create a photograph that pays homage to this most wonderful season, and the obvious subject matter was lambs — watching new born lambs bouncing around in the lush grass is surely the highlight of all that Spring has to offer?
There needed to be a strong story weaved into the final photograph, and I think including her mother in the frame tells a story of motherhood, of love and of the next generation. The photograph just oozes Spring.
I would like to thank Clinks Care Farm for their help in creating the Spring series.
We Are Family
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002022
One of my favourite things about my work is being able to witness the beautiful bonds between animals, and to learn about the depth and strength of those bonds. I am incredibly lucky.
Witnessing the formation of those bonds during Spring is perhaps the most special sight of the year, and I wanted to create a single frame that epitomised the strong bonds animals have for one another.
I don’t think I need to say too much about this emotional frame — it is clear that family is everything, and I admit to feeling teary whilst I adjusted the camera settings.
Scarlett
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002022
Another highlight of 2022 for me has been working with the Nikon Europe Z9 mirrorless camera. My photography is all about capturing the small details, because I notice every small detail about everything thanks to my Autism, and with this incredible camera I finally feel that I am able to truly capture what I notice in the world around me, through a camera.
I’m so excited to continue working with the Z9 throughout 2023, and I am so grateful for the on-going support of Nikon Europe – it is fantastic to see such big organisations supporting diversity.
Snowy
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002022
Thought I would mark #WorldAnimalDay2022 by sharing a first for me – an owl!
I am drawn to the serenty and beauty of black and white, and so when I began researching owls I was immediately drawn to the Snowy Owl – they are such mystical creatures and I knew immediately that I had to work with the species.
After becoming enchanted by these beautiful birds, I spent some time contemplating the best way to photograph them – I didn’t want the photograph to have any distractions as that would take away from the beauty of the owl, the background had to be simple.
I photographed them a couple of times, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome – it is everything I imagined and more
Contemplation
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002018
We have wiped out 83% of the wild mammals that once existed, and now 60% of all the mammals on Earth are livestock (mostly cattle and pigs), 36% are us humans and just 4% are wild animals. 70% of all the birds on Earth are farmed chickens. I prey that we soon begin to realise that Earth is not just for humans; we will forever be remembered for slaughtering the natural world.
Lemur Dreams
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002018
The Ring-tailed lemur, like all of the 60 lemur species that call Madagascar home, is known for it’s boundless energy and enthusiasm, watch a television documentary or visit their island home and you will witness them bouncing from tree-to-tree. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
This energy does however pose a challenge for photographers, unless of course you are seeking photographs of this commonly recorded behaviour. I have no interest in creating another image of another leaping lemur, rather I wanted a portrait that demonstrated the beauty of this creature. For the image to work needed good light, an unusually calm lemur and a degree of intimacy, there was no room for anything less than perfection.⠀⠀⠀⠀
Everything came together long enough for me to capture three images, the exposures either side where toast, but the middle one was perfect.
