Our Forest
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002023
Released in support of WWF’s Forest Pathways Report in September, this special photograh was taken close to my home in the Norfolk countryside. It is a celebration of the UK’s incredible forests, and the many beautiful species that call this precious habitat home.
My Protector
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002023
Photographing a baby giraffe is always an enchanting experience, the awkward attempts to navigate their long legs and their large, innocent eyes always make me smile.
I wanted to capture the vulnerability of the baby, and the strong bond between mother and calf. The bond between mother and offspring has inspired so much of my work capturing the natural world – it is a bond that is so special.
Photographing this baby giraffe was an unforgettable experience, reminding me of the beauty and vulnerability of nature. It served as a gentle reminder of the preciousness of life and the importance of preserving these magnificent creatures for generations to come.
As always, this was take using Nikon’s incredible #Z9
Grumpy
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002023
The Pallas Cat has always grabbed my attention – they are both cute and menacing, and their facial expressions often cause me to smile. What they lack in size, they certainly makeup for in sass and attitude.
I sensed that my previous attempts at photographing the cat had failed to fully capture their attitude, and for me, that is what the species is all about, so when I had a recent break in between shoots for the next book I jumped at the chance to photograph the pallas cat again.
I immediately got down low because I knew that to capture their intense, cold stare I had to at least be at the same level as their eyes, if not slightly lower. Once in position it was a case of waiting, and hoping, that he would give me that grumpy look that always makes me smile. He did, and I left with a smile on my face.
Tapestry
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002023
Much of my attention in recent months has been poured into the wild horse project, but it has been great to pepper the schedule with the occasional exotic shoot – not only does it refocus the mind when returning to the horse project, but it has also refreshed my creativity.
Eyes On The Prize
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002023
In the wilds of the African savanna, it is the female lion that does all of the hunting for her pride – they are perfectly adapted hunting machines, and their instincts point towards providing for and protecting their pride.
Grace
£250.00 – £1,150.00Price range: £250.00 through £1,150.002023
This was one of those moments that I knew I had truly achieved the result I had dreamed of for so long – it was an encounter that I will never forget.
If you’ve been following me for a while then you’ll probably have noticed that I’ve been working ring-tailed lemurs regularly over the past few months, that’s because I’ve had an idea in my mind and have been trying to turn that into reality.
A head-on portrait of a ring-tailed lemur may not be groundbreaking, but it’s a shot I’ve always wanted to capture – a single frame that really shows the beauty, grace and personality of these beautiful primates.
The difficulty, I quickly discovered, was that they don’t often give you, or the camera, their full attention, and why should they?
Finally, after many attempts and many hours, I feel I have achieved my goal. I think he surrendered to the camera for a split second.
Wild Horses Book
£35.00 – £40.00Price range: £35.00 through £40.00Photographer and wildlife activist, Alfie Bowen presents his two-year-long project photographing Britain’s wild horses through the eyes of someone living with autism spectrum disorder. Wild Horses is all about connection: Bowen’s personal connection to the animals he photographs; his connection to photography as an art form; the horses’ connection to one another; and our collective connection to the land and our planet.
Bowen borrows the words of American landscape photographer Ansel Adams to describe his approach to his work: ‘You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.’ For Bowen, photography is an outlet for his emotional energy. It enables him to draw from difficult moments in his life and turn the energy that manifests from his emotions into truly mesmerising images.
Wild World – Signed Edition
£40.00Own the book that launched my career as a wildlife photographer, alongside a signed limited edition fine art print from my collection.
Wild World: Nature Through an Autistic Eye is a deeply personal exploration of wildlife, photography and autism. Through more than 100 photographs from across the globe, I share the stories behind the images, the animals that have inspired me, and how photography became my escape from a childhood marked by bullying and misunderstanding.
Rather than simply documenting wildlife, Wild World invites readers to see nature through a different perspective—one shaped by an autistic mind that finds beauty in patterns, colour, detail and the extraordinary individuality of every animal.
Featuring a foreword by renowned naturalist and broadcaster Chris Packham, the book celebrates not only the natural world, but the power of embracing difference.
Paired with the book is “Contemplation”, a signed limited edition fine art print. This intimate black and white portrait captures a thoughtful moment in one of our closest relatives and has become one of my favourite primate photographs. Together, the book and print create a beautiful keepsake for wildlife lovers, photographers and anyone inspired by the stories that connect people and nature.
